Fast rising UK rockers The Dirty Youth have been confirmed as the first headline act for Les-Fest 3 in 2014.
Keeping focussed on Sunday’s traditional rock night they will be joined by Rocksector Records‘ Exit State and the same day will also witness a return for both Massive Wagons and Inferno.
After the successful appearance of last years Marshall and Download competition winners States of Panic, Les-Fest has also added them to the 2014 bill.
Co-Organiser Fede Valls said.
“We are stoked to secure a band with the rapidly growing stature of The Dirty Youth, having already been on the road with the likes of Reckless Love, The Rasmus and Korn; we know we are going to have a major act on our hands next summer”
“We have been keeping a close eye on a great rock act, Bad Touch, for sometime now, so after confirming them for Les-Fest 3 we were not surprised when they won the coveted Download slot and Marshall endorsement for 2014”
The final act to be included in the fourth announcement are North England based rockers Spill Sixteen.
Les-Fest is Scotland’s only 3 day annual, outdoor, indoor rock and metal festival. Recently awarded the best musical event of the year at the Scottish New Music Awards in 2012.
The 2014 festival takes place close to the village of Lesmahagow, on Friday the 27th until Sunday the 29th June 2014.
